Visiting Millennium Park, Chicago
Here I am in front of the famous Cloud Gate, (also known as "the Bean") in Chicago. Obviously I should've woken up at the crack of dawn if I wanted to take photos without all the tourists. Nevertheless there's something to be said about experiencing Millennium Park with all its hustle and bustle. The weather was positively heavenly so we took a stroll to burn off some calories after our big brunch. Strains from a concert at the nearby band shell lent a dynamic mood. Chicago is a city with a great vibe. The only thing that sucked about my visit was getting pickpocketed in the subway station. But that's a story for another day.
As I mentioned, the weather was perfect during our stay (if you count the occasional flash thunderstorm as perfect, which I do). It was balmy in the sun but could get a bit crispy in the shade. My fair-isle cardigan from Aeropostale was the perfect fall cover-up. I really liked that it added some vibrance to my all-white look.
